In 2018, revenues from value-added services (VAS) of the leading 100 property management companies in China were distributed among different service categories as follows: community value-added services accounted for 54 percent of total revenue from VAS, engineering services and consulting services for 14 percent each, and other services for 18 percent of total revenue from VAS.

Services to non-property owners include consultancy services, sales assistance services, engineering services, online advertisement services, etc. Services to property owners are relating to the daily needs of the communities and include repair and maintenance services, education related services, retirement care services, etc.
