In 2023, offshore production represented nearly 98 percent of Brazil's crude oil output, amounting to more than 1.21 billion barrels. In comparison to 2014, the country's annual offshore production has increased by roughly 59 percent. In contrast, Brazil's onshore crude production dropped by nearly 53 percent in the same period.
