The Cabrera Archipelago, located in the Balearic Islands, was the largest national park in Spain as of 2021, with a surface area of nearly 91 thousand hectares. At that time, the Canary Islands was the Spanish autonomous community with the largest number of national parks, with a total of four. These are Caldera de Taburiente, Garajonay, Teide, and Timanfaya.
