According to a 2022 survey by Rakuten Insight on wearable tech, about 88 percent of respondents in Hong Kong who were 16 to 24 years old and did not own any smart wearables were aware of the Apple watch. Samsung and Xiaomi wearable technology were also well-known brands among all age groups of respondents who do not own smart wearables.
