According to a survey conducted in March 2019, about 45 percent of female and 36 percent of male respondents in Japan voiced concern about their personal information being leaked by computer virus once Society 5.0 is materialized.
Society 5.0 is a governmental proposal of a Japanese super-smart society. Society 5.0 represents the fourth industrial revolution, in which state-of-the-art technology and connectivity, such as Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and robots, will be highly integrated into every industry and social life in Japan.
