In 2023, South Korean Full-Service Carriers' (FSC) market share of international air passenger traffic was about 33.7 percent. This was a decrease from around 41 percent in the previous year. Apart from the years during the COVID-19 pandemic, the share of FSC has been steadily diminishing due to the growth of domestic Low-Cost Carriers (LCC).
