Banking activities most frequently handled through digital channels in the UK 2018
The future of banking is fast becoming digital. With hundreds of bank branches closing across the United Kingdom (UK), customers are now more than ever using online and or mobile banking to handle a number of banking activities. In a survey conducted in late 2018, 53 percent of respondents used online banking to transfer money to another person. Customers used digital channels least frequently for disputes, complaints, deposits and withdrawals.
