Payments made by people in skilled manual occupations in the UK 2018, by method
In 2018, cash was the most popular method of payment, accounting for 46 percent of the transactions carried out by people in skilled manual occupations. Nevertheless, more payments were conducted using cards (41 percent of all payments). It can be seen that debit cards were more popular than credit cards, with 36 percent and five percent of the transactions made respectively.
