In 2019, 34 percent of Millennial finance app users in the United States and the United Kingdom said they wanted biometrics to make transactions more secure, and 36 percent of Gen Xers said the same. However, only 24 percent and 22 percent, respectively, wanted to be able to take out a loan on mobile finance services apps in the future.
