The elderly population of Russia aged 55 years and older spent nearly six hours per day watching television from home and slighly over an hour from their summer housing in August 2019, being the main consumers of TV in the country by duration of use. Children between 4 and 17 years old watched TV for approximately an hour and a half every day when watching from home and under 20 minutes from dachas*.
