Dementia-related medical costs South Korea 2014-2018
The cost of dementia treatment in South Korea has exceeded two trillion South Korean won in 2018. The number of South Koreans with dementia has increased in recent years, and accordingly the cost of treating them has also risen. According to government figures, the number of people with various forms of dementia and the costs of treating these patients skyrocketed by more than 70% over the last five years.
