The younger population between 18 and 29 years old was the only age group in Ukraine where the share of consumers of national online media resources outweighted national television viewers, with 60 percent of the respondents from this category using internet sites to receive political and economic news. Among survey participants aged 60 and older, the share of those who watched Ukrainian TV news was measured at 91 percent.

The survey excluded the Autonomous Republic of Crimea as well as the areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions that were not under control of the government of Ukraine.
