In 2018, 51 percent of Swedish millennials would pick up the phone when booking a medical appointment, whereas only 20 percent would do this online using a computer. If consulting a medical expert, 32 percent of the respondents would call for advice, while 47 percent would go to the doctor in person. In similar vein, 62 percent received test results at the doctor. Hence, most Swedish millennials either call or see the doctor in person to this day, as opposed to using digital means.
