According to a survey conducted in August 2018, almost half of the surveyed property owners in Japan aged between 30 to 39 would not hesitate to lease their properties to lesbian tenants. Approximately 45 percent of overall respondents stated that they would lease their properties to a lesbian renter without any hesitation. However, around 20 percent of respondents stated that they would not lease their properties to homosexual women.
