When asked how much they spent on furniture and home furnishings in 2018, approximately 45 percent of Italians said that they spent less money compared to how much they spent in the previous years. 43 percent of the respondents declared that they spent the same. Moreover, in 2018, only about one in ten Italians spent more on furniture and home furnishings compared to the previous year.
