Domestic airmail transport distance in Japan in FY 2013-2017
In fiscal year 2017, the payload distance of postal mail transported domestically via air transportation in Japan amounted to around 62 million ton-kilometers. Airmail is commonly transported domestically as air freight on passenger flights operated by the major Japanese airlines Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways.
