According to a survey about sustainable fund investments in Sweden in 2019, the oldest age group, from 56 to 76 years seemed to be more aware of investing in sustainable funds than the younger age groups. 36 percent of respondents in this age group chose at least some of their funds due to their sustainability focus, while 35 percent in the age group from 35 to 55 years stated to do so, and 28 percent from the age group from 18 to 34 years.

Sustainability in funds refers to for example funds that choose not to invest in activities such as weapon and porn, funds which influence the corporations to be more sustainable, or funds which only invest in environmental technologies etcetera.
