Airmail volume on local routes of domestic flights in Japan in FY 2013-2017
In fiscal year 2017, almost 22 thousand tons of mail were carried on local lines in Japan via domestic flights. Airmail is commonly transported domestically as air freight on passenger flights operated by the major Japanese airlines Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways.
