Nearly 85 percent of managers of Russian financial institutions who participated in the survey from January 2019 indicated that their enterprises employed big data analysis and predictive analytics. Only 12 percent of surveyed organizations tested or used the Internet of Things (IoT).

* In total, over 100 largest Russian companies from key economic sectors, including finance, telecommunications, metal industry, energy, transport as well as retail. According to the source, 23 percent of respondents came from banks and financial institutions.
The survey respondents were companies' top management, managers responsible for digital transformation as well as managers of functional blocs within companies where some or other digital technologies are being tested or already used.
