Holmen: environmental protection expenditure by type 2021

In 2021, most of the environmental protection expenditures of the Swedish company Holmen came from investments (remedial and preventive). While this expenditure amounted to 815 million Swedish kronor, another 159 million was spent on internal and external environmental expenses that year. Furthermore, the company paid environmental taxes and charges worth of 15 million Swedish kronor. Holmen is one of the biggest forest owners in Sweden. The company produces different wood products and renewable energy from wind and water.
