Value of onshore bond defaults in China 2015-2019
In 2018, the value of defaulted onshore bonds in China increased dramatically to 121 billion yuan, and is expected to keep growing in 2019. While many of China's companies were suffering from difficult restructuring, the participation of international fund in China's onshore distressed bonds was rather little due to the high risks.
