Opinion on cause of higher electricity prices Australia 2023
In a survey conducted in 2023 about the Australian publics' opinion on what was to blame for rising electricity prices, 49 percent of respondents stated that a reason was excessive profit margins of electricity companies. In contrast, only 32 percent of respondents stated the reason was because renewable energy was too expensive.
