According to a survey carried out in 2017 and 2018, there is an increasing demand for more mobile payment options among consumers from all generations in Argentina. In 2018, 58 percent of Generation X consumers (born between the mid-1960s and the early-1980s), said they expected to be able to pay more transactions through their mobile phones in the future. However, the largest growth was registered among boomers, with 49 percent of consumers in this generation claiming they expected to use more mobile payments as of 2018, up from 32 percent only a year earlier.
