According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on wearable tech in September 2022, about 75 percent of the female respondents in Malaysia stated that they were aware of Apple as a wearable tech brand, while 60 percent of the male respondents knew of Samsung. In the same survey, about half of the respondents stated that they owned a smart wearable.
