Brazil: online shopping penetration 2017-2020, by age

During a survey conducted in Brazil from October 2019 to March 2020 – therefore partially impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak – half (50 percent) of responding internet users aged between 25 and 34 years said they had bought products and/or services online in the 12 months leading up to the survey. This age group's share rose from 45 percent recorded both in 2019 and 2018. Likewise, the online shopping penetration rate increased among male and female internet users in Brazil in 2020.
