A survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in September 2022 found that around 45 percent of Indian respondents aged between 25 and 34 years old owned a smartwatch. Smartwatches were the preferred wearable compared to other devices among all age groups. Nonetheless, most respondents did not own any wearable devices during the survey period.
