According to a recent survey conducted by Rakuten Insight, over 50 percent of respondents across all ages in the Philippines who owns a smartwatch and/or fitness/activity tracker said that they connected fitness apps such as Runtastic or Runkeeper to their device. Others also connected music streaming and social media apps to their device. The same survey revealed that majority of respondents who own such technology purchased Android brands such as Samsung, Huawei, and Samsung.
