Hindustan, also known as Hindustan Dainik, had an average issue readership of a little over 13 million readers across India during the final quarter of 2019. This was a decrease compared to the average readership in 2017. The Hindi daily newspaper was the fourth largest circulated paper in the country. Notably, India saw a dip in the readership figures since the onset of the pandemic early in 2020.
