Over 50 percent of the surveyed companies in Japan in August 2021, which engaged in corporate social responsibility (CSR), stated that they focused either on acting on climate change and natural disasters or on promoting sustainable economic growth and "decent work" employments.
"Decent Work" is a concept established by the International Labour Organization (ILO) in 2009 which involves a secure, free, and productive work environment and delivers a fair income.
