Most important aspects of companies when purchasing goods 2018, by size
According to a survey conducted in summer 2018, the leading aspect small and medium enterprises consider in the procurement and purchase of materials, goods and services was to ensure the quality of the procured goods. Despite an increasing importance of sustainability in Japanese businesses, only one in four enterprises of all sizes named the promotion sustainable (CSR conform) procurement and adhering to corporate compliance an important aspect.
