Frequency of reading a book outside curriculum among Indian youth by gender 2019
According to a youth survey conducted across eight Indian cities in 2019, it was seen that a majority of male youngsters reported to have read a book outside school curriculum in the week preceding the survey. While a majority of female respondents reported to have read a book longer than a month preceding the survey.
