During the period from 2015 to 2022, the Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) capital ratio of the Swedish bank Handelsbanken peaked in 2016, at 25.1 percent. The CET1 ratio is a measure of the financial strength of the bank, and the following years after 2016 it declined, and was down at 19.6 percent in 2022.
