Population by membership in religious and life stance organizations in Iceland 2023

The biggest religious organization in Iceland in 2023 was the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Iceland, with more than 227,000 members. Ranked second was the Roman Catholic Church with about 15,000 members. Moreover, 73,000 had another religious stance or did not state their life stance, and 30,000 did not belong to any religious organization.
