Data were provided by the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC); a Crown entity responsible for managing New Zealand's 'universal no-fault accidental injury' scheme. Financial support and compensation is provided through the ACC to people in New Zealand who have suffered accidental personal injuries.
New Zealand's financial year runs from July 1 to June 30; for example, financial year 2017 starts on July 1, 2016 and ends on June 30, 2017.
