In July 2019, YouGov Italia conducted a survey on the propensity to rent clothing items instead of buying them in Italy. The source asked respondents how much they were willing to spend for renting one piece of clothing for a single occasion. As a matter of fact, 36 percent of the people interviewed would invest between 25 and 50 euro for renting a piece of clothing.
