Average monthly wages of journalists in Norway 2019-2022, by gender
In the past two years, male journalists in Norway earned more money on a monthly basis than female employees in this field. In the second quarter of 2022, the average monthly wage of male journalists amounted to more than 58,8 thousand Norwegian kroner, while women earned nearly 55 thousand Norwegian kroner. Despite slightly falling figures in the 3rd quarter of every year, the wages of both genders increased in the examined period.
