According to a survey among Rohingya in refugee camps in Bangladesh, the majority of respondents stated that the violence has decreased in the refugee camp over time, followed by 35 percent who claimed that the violence situation stayed the same. Male respondents rather felt that violence has increased.
Opinion on the change of violence in the refugee camps for Rohingya in Bangladesh in 2019
The survey was conducted in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, among 717 female and 560 male Rohingya that had arrived in Bangladesh after the August 25th, 2017 military operation in northern Rakhine state.
