Share of the aviation industry and Solidarity Transport Hub in the GDP in Poland 2019
The aviation industry is one of the most effective sectors of the Polish economy. According to the source, one person employed in passenger air traffic generates 600 thousand zloty of added value, six times more than the average for Polish employee. The share of Polish airports in GDP is up to five percent, which is twice as high as in the European Union, which is 2.6 percent of GDP. Overall, the demand effects of Solidarity Transport Hub construction should temporarily increase GDP by 3.2 percent.
