Pensions, healthcare and crime emerged as the main topics which Dutch-speaking Belgians considered political priorities in 2019. Close to 40 percent of Dutch-speaking Belgians surveyed in 2019 indicated that they felt that politics should focus on providing good pensions in the coming five years. Meanwhile, the share of respondents who felt the climate should be prioritized was significantly lower, at around 20 percent.
