Box office revenue in Guatemala 2015-2022
In 2022, Guatemala reported a box office gross of 18.3 million U.S. dollars, up from 11.8 million dollars a year earlier – an increase of about 55 percent. Despite the annual growth, the 2022 figure amounted to little more than half of the 34.1-million-dollar revenue seen in 2019, before the pandemic. Also in 2022, Guatemala had the third-highest box office gross in Central America.
