Prices of electricity for non-household consumers with an annual consumption between 500 and 2,000 megawatt-hours in the European Union reached a peak in 2023, at 20.3 euro cents per kilowatt-hour. Electricity prices boomed following the 2022 energy crisis. That year, Cyprus and Hungary recorded the highest electricity price for non-residential users in the EU, among low consumption users. On the other hand, the Nordic country of Finland had the lowest electricity price.
