Latin America: DALYs caused by suicide and self-harm 2018, by country
In 2018, Suriname saw the highest share of disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) contributed by suicide and self-harm in the region; these factors contributed to 3.6 percent of all disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) in the South American country. Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda saw the lowest share of DALYs caused by suicide and self-harm in Latin America, recorded at 0.4 percent.
