According to a survey conducted by Ipsos on the outlook for 2020, approximately 34 percent of Japanese agreed that the global economy will grow stronger than in 2019. Among all the countries surveyed, Japanese people were among the most pessimistic, outdone only by Italian, Belgian, and French respondents.
