Suriname: outbound tourism spending 2010-2019, by category
Suriname saw its highest outbound tourism expenditure of the past decade in 2015, when international tourists from this country spent a total of 128 million U.S. dollars visiting their destinations. By the end of the 2010s, the South American country's spending on international tourism amounted to 94 million U.S. dollars, of which approximately seven million dollars corresponded to passenger transport expenses. In 2019, Suriname's population was at around 580 thousand inhabitants.
