Opinion on likelihood of discovering a cure for the common cold in Japan 2019
According to a survey conducted by Ipsos on predictions for scientific breakthroughs in 2019, only 17 percent of Japanese believed it is likely that a cure for the common cold will be found that year. Compared to a global average of 38 percent respondents thinking a breakthrough is likely, Japanese were among the most skeptical people.
