According to a survey conducted in Mexico in November 2018, approximately ten percent of the respondents in the country smoked often or very often, while nearly 90 percent claimed to never smoke or do so not frequently. In 2018, more than 7.8 thousand people were diagnosed with lung cancer in Mexico.
