The consumption per capita of fish in Brazil was forecast to increase between 2024 and 2034 by in total 0.36 kilograms per capita (+4.2 percent). This overall increase does not happen continuously, notably not in 2028. After the fourth consecutive increasing year, the consumption per capita is estimated to reach 8.77 kilograms per capita and therefore a new peak in 2033.
