According to a 2019 survey, Indian travelers are the most likely to purchase an eco-friendly plane ticket even if it is the most expensive option they could afford, with 73 percent of respondents agreeing they would do so. Japanese travelers were the least likely with 22 percent of respondents, followed by the United States with 24 percent.
