In 2022, Russian law enforcement authorities registered over 4,700 bribe giving offenses in the country, compared to over 3,600 such crimes recorded in 2020. Between 2015 and 2017, the number of recorded incidents of bribe giving declined threefold.

The data are provided by information centers of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the main directorate of internal affairs, and regional directorates of internal affairs.
