In 2023, Europeans consumed 31.8 kilos of pork, while the per capita consumption of beef was significantly lower, at 10.2 kilos in total. The per capita consumption of both pork and beef were forecast to decrease over the following years, while the amount of poultry consumed was expected to grow.
